Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in expanding our research efforts into new therapeutic areas, starting with Endocrinology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking studies in diabetes management, working closely with a passionate team of endocrinologists and research professionals.
Responsibilities
+ Screen participants for research protocols and manage informed consent forms.
+ Ensure adherence to study protocols and manage study calendars and timelines.
+ Document study details within EPIC and liaise with Principal Investigator and sponsor contacts.
+ Support IRB coordination and submissions.
+ Manage up to three studies, with patient numbers varying across studies.
+ Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including endocrinologists and a nurse practitioner.
+ Ensure patients feel at ease and welcome in the study environment.
+ Report to the Research Manager and collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years' experience in clinical research as a Clinical Research Nurse.
+ 3+ years' experience supporting industry (non-government) trials.
+ Active RN license in the state of NC.
+ AHA BLS certification.
+ CCRP (SOCRA) or ACRP-CP (ACRP) certification.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable.
+ Passion for research, preferably in endocrinology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ EPIC experience is highly preferred.
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite five days a week, with the potential for one remote day depending on patient volume. You will be based three days a week at the Endocrinologist office in Arden and two days at the Cancer Center in Hendersonville.

This is a Contract position based out of Hendersonville, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.96 - $50.00/hr.
