    Description

    We are currently recruiting an Interoperability Specialist within our Technical Support / Interoperability team. This role is based at our North American headquarters in Fort Mill, South Carolina and is the result of continued success, and sustained growth. The chosen applicant will handle internal and external requests for interoperability interfaces with the Quantum Informatics product line. Primary Role: • Analyze Interoperability requests and coordinate with stakeholders both within sales and implementation teams. • Develop clear requirements and test cases for interoperability / interface requests by collaborating with customers on technical calls / consulting. • Implement, verify, and validate the interfaces on calls with customer technical and clinical teams Required Skills • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining HL7 interfaces using an interface engine such as Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect) • Strong proficiency in configuring interface channels, including sources, destinations, filters, transformers, and message routing • Expertise in HL7 v2.x messaging standards (e.g., ADT, ORU, ORM messages), segment mapping, acknowledgments (ACKs), and data transformation • Proficiency in JavaScript for custom transformers, filters, and scripting within interface engine • Experience working with JSON structures for data mapping, transformation, and integration (e.g., converting HL7 to JSON or handling API payloads) • Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries, stored procedures, and database interactions for interface data storage/retrieval • Experience with related technologies such as XML, XSLT, TCP/IP, and MLLP protocols, and general database connectivity • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills for interface debugging, error handling, and production support • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with internal team, clients and stakeholders
