    We are seeking an enthusiastic Hydrology & Hydraulics Engineer to engage in stormwater management and drainage design for transportation projects across the United States. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, floodplain mapping, and stormwater permitting.

    Responsibilities

    + Design storm drainage systems and develop stormwater management plans.

    + Analyze Best Management Practices (BMPs) and undertake stream restoration projects.

    + Conduct floodplain studies and perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and TR-55.

    + Prepare detailed stormwater plans for complex sites.

    + Understand construction processes related to permitting and surveying.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TR-55, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

    + 2+ years of experience in hydrology/hydraulics design.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + EIT or PE certification preferred.

    + Familiarity with modeling river systems, floodplain delineation, culvert/bridge hydraulics, erosion control, and FEMA requirements.

    + Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, or ArcGIS.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in an office setting, working collaboratively with a team of engineers and field personnel.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
