Job Title: Assistant Project ManagerJob Description
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. You will work alongside the Senior Project Manager and Project Administrator to support new construction projects, specifically $50+ million wastewater treatment plant retrofits or expansions.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in estimating change orders.
+ Prepare and review submittals.
+ Monitor labor hours and material costs.
+ Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment and materials.
+ Assist with billing applications, progress reports, scheduling, change order logs, and follow up on pending changes while monitoring accounts receivable.
+ Review contract drawings, detail drawings, and specifications.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of construction management experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
+ Advanced organizational and time management skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
+ Strong work ethic and results-driven attitude.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with treatment plant, mechanical, or other large infrastructure projects is preferred.
+ Software experience with P6, E-Builder, and Trimble is a plus.
+ Local candidates are highly preferred.
Work Environment
The Assistant Project Manager will spend most of their time in the office or on-site in a trailer, with some time inspecting the project site. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. The dress code includes jeans and polo shirts. The team is part of a multi-billion dollar global company, offering opportunities for career advancement and transfers within the organization. Overtime is compensated at 1.5 times the regular rate, though it is not typically required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Miami Beach, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
