A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning,
inspection, recording of as found conditions, and reassembly of reciprocating,
turbo compressor, & steam turbine equipment. Work as part of a team within
a team to ensure that all projects are completed safely, correctly and meet or
beat customer expectations. Follow and promote all safety and quality
directives in support of Siemens-Energy commitment to being the Industry’s
Premier Service Provider to our clients.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Compressor disassembly,cleaning, and inspection including the accurate collection and recording oftechnical inspection data for equipment repair proposals. Maintaining clear andconcise daily work records and job logs.
+ Use of basicproblem-solving skills in terms of gathering facts, analyzing the cause andselecting the best most accurate solution.
+ Maintenance of equipmentand regular daily housekeeping to ensure an organized and safe workingenvironment.
+ Responsible for followingof all safe work practices, Siemens-Energy safety and quality policies andprocedures during normal daily operations.
What You Bring
+ High School diploma orequivalent, with 2+ years of related mechanical experience or combination offormal technical training and/ or on the job training preferred.
+ The ability to routinelylift at least 50 pounds, as required to perform essential functions of theposition, for up to eight hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
+ Personal tooling andmeasuring instruments required for general machine shop use. Basic computer andword processing skills.
+ Proficient use of commonPMI's (mic's, gauges, etc.).
+ Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills. Strong reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
+ A valid state driver’slicense with ability to travel as required
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the
United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work
authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be
eligible for internal transfers.
