A Snapshot of Your Day
The Senior Compensation Professional is responsible for analysis, administration, and implementation of compensation programs for the North America region. This role provides Compensation expertise and guidance to key stakeholders including HR, Finance, and Business Leadership. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to North America leadership and HR partners on total rewards – including base pay, incentives, and benchmarking – while managing regional and global projects, driving effective change, and delivering clear communication and engagement. Additionally, they will bring a continuous‑improvement mindset to streamline and automate processes wherever possible.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Lead assigned projects supporting Siemens Energy’s US and Canada compensation programs by analyzing program effectiveness, developing necessary models, facilitating pay program design, and preparing all required proposals for compensation initiatives.
+ Oversee the administration of annual incentive and sales compensation programs, including the target setting phase through calculation of incentive payments based upon company achievements.
+ Partner with members of the C&B and Human Resources teams to lead the design, development, communication, implementation and administration of compensation programs and processes. This includes conducting research, evaluation, and analyses of internal and external market research, analyzing competitive position and market trends and making recommendations for compensation programs, as needed.
+ Prepare written exhibits, summaries, and recommendations for compensation programs.
+ Participate in compensation projects as well as provide guidance and support to other Human Resources team members on compensation and related matters.
+ Develop, prepare, and present reports, forecasts, pricing analysis, other ad-hoc projects to ensure optimal level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Finance, or related field preferred. Also, 10+ years of experience in Compensation or Total Rewards functions, with expertise in the US labor market.
+ Advanced skills with Microsoft business applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including experience applying artificial intelligence to streamline, automate, and simplify routine activities.
+ Prior experience designing compensation strategy and delivering sustainable reward programs for manufacturing/production environments preferred.
+ Demonstrates the ability to work effectively both as part of a virtual team and independently, supported by strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for proactive engagement with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining excellent organizational capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Proficiency with analytical and financial modeling skills, along with the demonstrated ability to design, communicate and implement compensation programs.
+ Willing to travel 5% domestically and internationally.
