    The Transforming Children-s Behavior (TCB) Senior Project Coordinator is a full time, grant funded position, in which the individual will provide support to the Tow Youth Justice Institute (TYJI) at University of New Haven and the State of CT Health Policy and Planning Committee.

    General Summary of Duties:

    This position assists the Senior Project Manager of the TCB on duties specific to the work of the TCB and achieving its goals as outlined in the TYJI and TCB strategic plans.

    You Will:

    + Collaborate and work with the TCB Senior Project Manager to achieve the goals of the TCB.

    + Perform literature searches, prepare and annotate bibliographies and abstract data source materials for TCB.

    + Present research results and prepare content for presentations and special projects.

    + Prepare written reports, memos, summaries and/or outlines of research results.

    + Work with TCB workgroups in researching best practices in the field of juvenile justice.

    + Draft reports as identified through legislation and or the TCB workplans.

    + Conduct statistical analyses of data, including organizing and maintaining databases and preparing analyses, charts, tables, graphs, and maps.

    + Administrative support as needed and requested by Senior Project Manager or Executive Director, including but not limited to reviewing all meeting summaries and minutes and preparing bi-annual reports of TCB progress.

    You Need:

    + Bachelor-s Degree in related subject/concentration.

    + Ability to work with multiple deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.

    + Ability to adapt and to solve problems proactively and creatively.

    + Interest in topics of youth justice, best practices in children-s behavioral health, and reform efforts locally and statewide.

    + Experience with state legislative process.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing.

    + Excellent organizational skills for planning and scheduling.

    + Excellent time management skills.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and good judgment.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills.

    + Proven ability to work as a contributing member of a team and to communicate effectively within the team environment.
