    Job Title: Front Desk ReceptionistJob Description

     

    Join a dynamic insurance office as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service. This position offers great growth potential and an opportunity to advance in the insurance industry.

    Responsibilities

    + Greet everyone as they enter and assist with their needs.

    + Manage all outgoing and incoming mail, including FedEx/UPS packages.

    + Route incoming calls (25-35 per day) to the appropriate employees.

    + Schedule and block the calendar for Meeting Rooms.

    + Order office supplies on a weekly basis.

    + Perform mail routing processes, including scanning paper mail, downloading documents, and applying specified file naming conventions.

    + Cover calls and mail routing for multiple locations as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented.

    + 1 year of administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred.

    + Experience with computers, scanners, PDFs, office phones, and creating messages.

    + Open to face-to-face customer service if holding a degree.

    + Desire to grow beyond a receptionist role.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a very nice and quiet insurance office, part of a shared office building. You will be connected via a chat system with a team of receptionists throughout Florida. The office is fast-paced with lots of moving parts. Hours of operation are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour lunch break. The receptionist will sit at the front of the office, separated from the elevator room by glass doors. Dress code is business professional, with business casual allowed during summer months. The role is in-office with approximately 3-5 other employees daily, and interactions with the public are limited to certain vendors.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
