We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a high‑performing Customer Experience team known for delivering world‑class service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is passionate about providing frictionless, high‑quality customer support.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with significant long‑term career growth potential. Previous team members in this department have been promoted into higher‑level CSR roles, supervision, management, sales, and other cross‑functional positions.
What You’ll Do
The Customer Experience Agent will be responsible for:
Customer Support & Communication
+ Handle 25–50+ inbound calls and 50–100+ emails daily
+ Respond to inquiries related to shipping, product availability, pricing, and order status
+ Create and manage cases for customer issues
+ Communicate directly with customers across multiple channels
+ Deliver a seamless, frictionless customer experience
Problem Solving & Coordination
+ Research customer questions and use internal systems to provide accurate answers
+ Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve requests quickly
+ Provide exception management and full transparency to customers
+ Support both internal and external customer inquiries
Professional Expectations
+ Work independently with minimal supervision
+ Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and strong attention to detail
+ Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
Work Environment
+ Onsite only — Tinley Park, IL
+ Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
+ State-of-the-art office space
+ Large, collaborative team environment (30+ CSR teammates)
Required Qualifications
+ 2+ years of customer service experience within a product‑based company or KPI‑driven environment
+ Note: No scripted call center backgrounds
+ Experience with order entry in an ERP system
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and general computer skills
+ Strong written communication skills (email-heavy role)
+ High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications
+ Claims / order claims processing experience
+ CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
+ Inbound phone support with 50+ call volume
+ Microsoft Excel skills
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tinley Park, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
