Senior Program Manager – Guidewire Implementation (Insurance)

About the Role

Our insurance industry client is embarking on a major Guidewire policy administration transformation and is seeking an experienced Senior Program/Project Manager to lead and oversee the initiative. This individual will drive program-level governance, manage large cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of a highly visible, enterprise-wide implementation.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead end-to-end program management for a Guidewire (or equivalent) policy administration system implementation

+ Oversee project planning, execution, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication

+ Partner with business and technology leaders to align program goals with organizational strategy

+ Manage program risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans

+ Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet regulatory, business, and technical requirements

+ Provide leadership to project managers, business analysts, technical leads, and vendor teams

+ Drive consistency, transparency, and structure across workstreams in a complex enterprise environment

Required Qualifications

+ 10+ years of program or large-scale project management experience within enterprise technology environments

+ Hands-on experience implementing policy administration systems — Guidewire strongly preferred

+ Deep insurance domain knowledge, specifically within commercial and/or specialty insurance

+ Demonstrated experience leading large, multi-year digital transformation or core system replacement programs

+ Proven ability to communicate effectively with Sr stakeholders and influence decision-making

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills

+ Ability to manage multiple vendors and blended delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience with Guidewire Cloud or multi-phase migration programs

+ PMP, SAFe, or other relevant certifications

+ Experience working within regulated insurance environments

Tools & Technology: Guidewire (or similar platform) | Azure Devops (ADO) | Office 365 | MS Teams | SharePoint

This is a Contract position based out of Piscataway, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $100.00/hr.
