Full-Time Hours | Competitive Pay | Growth Opportunity in IT
Are you looking to break into the data center and technology industry? Do you thrive in fast‑paced environments where organization, leadership, and hands‑on work all come together? If so, this role is a great fit for the next step in your career.
Why This Is a Great Career Opportunity
This role offers a unique pathway into a major, well‑established technology organization. If you have logistics or warehouse experience and have been looking for a way into the IT world, this is one of the best entry points.
You’ll start by using your core strengths—coordination, organization, shipping/receiving, and workflow oversight—while gaining exposure to data center operations, hardware movement, and infrastructure processes.
With strong performance, you can grow into more technical, hands‑on hardware roles, infrastructure support positions, or other data center specialties. This is an ideal launch pad for building a long‑term career in technology.
What You’ll Do
As a Data Center Logistics Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting operations for a rapidly expanding network of data centers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate rack movement activities—acting as a Rack Movement Supervisor during high‑volume deliveries.
You won’t manage people directly, but you will be the leader who ensures workflow runs smoothly and safely.
Daily activities include:
+ Overseeing incoming truckloads and coordinating unloading, palletizing, and staging
+ Monitoring work quality and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
+ Executing shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
+ Performing inventory cycle audits and maintaining accurate records
+ Coordinating delivery schedules and managing material movement
+ Following security protocols for handling and destroying data‑bearing devices (DBDs)
+ Working with established procedures, runbooks, and compliance standards
This role is hands‑on, high‑impact, and perfect for someone looking to grow within data center operations.
What You Bring
+ 2+ years of warehouse, supply chain, or shipping/receiving experience
+ Strong leadership qualities — confident, assertive, and able to direct workflow
+ A reliable, positive personality with interest in IT or data centers
+ Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word)
+ Prior data center logistics experience is a major plus
Required Education:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
Why Candidates Love This Role
+ Opportunity to join a large, industry‑leading company
+ Clear growth paths into technical roles and broader data center operations
+ Real hands‑on experience with enterprise hardware and logistics workflows
+ Supportive environment for learning IT fundamentals
