    Compensation: $19 - $21 hourly

     

    Contractor Work Model: Onsite

     

    Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (no schedule flexibility)

    About the Role

     

    Katy Engineering company looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to cover for a medical leave. This role serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, employees, and callers at our Katy office. This position requires a polished, professional presence and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls with professionalism and accuracy

    + Greet and assist guests, clients, and vendors upon arrival

    + Issue visitor badges and maintain proper security and check?in procedures

    + Provide general front desk support, including reception duties and administrative tasks

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area

    + Uphold a consistently professional attitude, appearance, and demeanor

    Requirements

    + Must be available to work onsite from 8 AM–5 PM with no schedule flexibility

    + Strong communication and customer service skills

    + Comfortable handling heavy phone traffic

    + Professional attire and presentation required

    + Prior reception or administrative experience preferred

    + Reliable, punctual, and able to represent the company with a positive attitude
