Job Title – IDMC Administrator

**** **Please note- this role is not able to offer Visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future**

In this role, you will:

1. Setup of IDMC environments - UAT and Break Fix

2. Operation and maintenance of the Informatica IDMC 6 environments (DEV QA STAGE PROD UAT Breakfix)

3. Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring Informatica IDMC components and ensuring they are properly integrated with other systems.

4. Installation and Configuration of CDI-PC for DEV QA STAGE UAT Breakfix followed by rollout of CDIPC client to the developers.

5. User Management: Managing user accounts roles and permissions to ensure secure access to the Informatica environment.

6. System Monitoring: Continuously monitoring system performance identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to optimize performance.

7. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Informatica IDMC including performance tuning and system optimization.

8. Data Integration: Overseeing data integration processes including ETL (Extract Transform Load) operations to ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed.

9. Collaboration: Working closely with other IT teams such as network database and application support teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.

10. Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of configurations processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

11. Patch Management: Applying patches and updates to keep the Informatica environment secure and up to date.

12. Capacity Planning: Planning for future capacity needs and ensuring the system can handle growth and increased demand.

13. Backup and Recovery: Implementing and managing backup and recovery processes to protect data and ensure business continuity.

What you need to have to be considered

• Hands-on experience administering Informatica IDMC across multi‑environment setups (DEV, QA, STAGE, PROD, UAT, Breakfix).

• Strong skills in installation, configuration, and rollout of Informatica components including CDI-PC.

• Proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for data integration platforms.

• Experience managing user roles, permissions, and security within Informatica environments.

• Solid understanding of patching, backup/recovery, and documentation for enterprise system operations

**Salary and Other Compensation** :

Applications will be accepted until January 23, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $135,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
