• Emergency Care Technician

    Crouse Hospital (Syracuse, NY)


    Maintains department supplies in patient care areas. Obtains blood specimens from patients, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Acquires and processes ECG's and transports patients to testing areas and rooms. Performs other duties as requested under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Registered Professional Nurse.

    Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Certification as a Basic Emergency Medical Technician or higher certification.

    + Must have two (2) years of emergency medical field experience necessary at the EMT-B or higher level.

    + Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
