About you and this role
Diamondhas a challenging and exciting role for aSenior Business Development Manager. This role reports to the Vice President of Business Development. Diamond encourages 3 days per week in the office while this role allows employees flexibility by choosing when to work remotely and when to attend on-site activities based on customer engagement, project work and role needs.
The role is focused on the identification and development of projects in support of Diamond’s strategic objectives andGrowthstrategy, including support of new customer co-locations or expansion projects at our existing I-Park sites. Projects requiring this level of leadership are substantial in size and/or complexity. TheSenior Business Development Manageris fully accountable for representing Diamond to prospective and existing customers and strategic partners, and executing opportunities to grow business revenue and EBITDA. The role also represents these new business development projects and opportunities internally within Diamond and more broadly amongst business, site and functional stakeholders (including Dow).
Responsibilities
+ Lead the commercial development of your assigned projects/opportunities.
+ Lead the advancement of growth opportunities and engagement with site team for your assigned USGC sites.
+ Develops opportunity pipeline in alignment with the business strategy.
+ Follow established commercial pricing and proposal principles and processes and pursue optimizations as they may be revealed.
+ Develop and negotiate contractual agreements necessary to (i) secure new business growth and/or (ii) support Diamond strategic projects.
+ Build strong relationships throughout the potential customer’s organization particularly at leadership levels and with key decision makers and influencers.
+ Lead the cross functional project team through all phases of any assigned commercial project; support implementation where appropriate.
+ Partner with colleagues across business, site and functional pillars to identify strategic and tactical growth opportunities.
+ Engage with the Diamond Commercial Management team to strategize offerings and deals in the best interest of Diamond and the customer, especially with existing customers.
+ Works closely with Diamond and Dow stakeholders/leadership to secure appropriate internal approvals and commitments on behalf of Dow (DoA, lease authorizations, EH&S reviews, etc.); when required.

Required Qualifications
+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degreeorrelevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 rankingorCanadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant
+ 8+ years of relevant experience such as strategic marketing, preferably in infrastructure, industrial, or B2B sectors, etc
+ Proven track record in market strategy development, competitive analysis, and business growth
+ A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Preferred Qualifications
+ Masters of Business Administration
+ Degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field
+ Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.
+ Prior experience in the commercial development of small-to-large, complex projects, often leading simultaneous development of several projects
+ Familiarity / experience with the structure, language, and/or administration of contracts (transactional, services-related, etc.)
+ Experience leading complex negotiations
