About the Role
We are seeking an experienced **Senior Technical Project Manager** with expertise in **Interface,** focusing on **maintenance, sustainment, and operational support** of interfaces that support the electronic health record within a **federal healthcare environment.** The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the unique demands of supporting interfaces in government hospitals and clinics, including compliance, lifecycle management, and technical coordination across multiple teams.
You will lead ongoing support operations and enhancement projects for interfaces, ensuring system reliability, safety, and compliance with federal regulations. This role involves working closely with clinical engineering, IT infrastructure teams, vendors, and government stakeholders to manage interfaces and support initiatives that directly impact patient care.
You’ll work closely with technical teams, support staff, healthcare partners, and vendors to ensure the reliable performance of interfaces and integration while assisting with small-scale projects, system updates, issue tracking, and coordination of support activities. You’ll join a hard-working, knowledgeable team dedicated to shaping the EHR experience for service members, veterans, American Indians, and Alaska Natives.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
+ 5 -7+ years of experience in technical project management, with 3+ years focused on interface design and implementation within a healthcare environment.
+ Demonstrated expertise with medical interfaces: HL7, FHIR, CDA, IHE profiles, PACS, RIS, and EHR/EMR implementations
+ Experience working within federal healthcare environments (e.g., VA, DoD, HHS) or with government contractors building and supporting interfaces.
+ Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with experience reporting to government stakeholders.
+ Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones
+ Manage project scope, budget, and resources; monitor project progress and adjust as necessary
+ Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
+ Ensure compliance with federal standards, regulations, and security requirements
+ Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to federal agencies and executive leadership
+ Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
+ Working knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and IT governance frameworks (e.g., FITARA, FISMA).
+ Clearance eligibility (e.g., Public Trust, Secret).
+ Proven experience managing large-scale medical data or interface projects within a federal or regulated environment
+ Strong knowledge of federal acquisition, contracting processes, and healthcare regulations (FAR, HIPAA, HITECH, NIST)
+ Hands-on experience with health IT and interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Corepoint, Rhapsody)
+ Familiarity with federal security/compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST)
+ Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent required
+ Agile or Scrum Certification (CSM, SAFe)
Expectations
+ Perform additional duties, as assigned
+ Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
+ Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
+ Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
+ U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.
+ Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
