We’re seeking a Business Analyst who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting large information technology projects for one of our clients headquartered in the New Jersey area.

As a Business Analyst in the Energy & Utilities industry, you will act as a critical link between business needs and technological solutions, ensuring the successful implementation of impactful projects in the Energy & Utilities domain.

Responsibilities:

+ Gather and document business requirements using interviews, workshops, and user stories.

+ Analyze and map Business processes to identify optimization opportunities.

+ Collaborate with IT teams to design technology solutions aligned with business goals.

+ Work with cross functional teams on time sensitive Energy data analysis that help summarize the business’s goals, initiatives, customer performance, etc.

+ Ensure solution alignment with different stakeholders

+ Contribute to project success by participating in testing and validation activities.

+ Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.

+ 4+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in the Energy & Utilities industry.

+ Strong analytical skills, including the ability to turn complex raw data into a useful summary

+ Experience with Data Analytics, SQL, MS Access, PowerBI

+ Proficiency with business analysis techniques and tools such as UML or BPMN.

+ Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

+ Knowledge of Energy & Utilities IT Systems, Clean Energy and Energy efficiency programs

Position Details:

+ Pay Rate / Range:_____$36.85-$41.85_______
