    Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a **Ticketing and Marketing Specialist** to join our Marketing team. **This position in based in the US - any location (preferably close to one US attraction).**

     

    The Ticketing & Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for executing North Americas merchandising approach, driving efficiency & consistency in execution to maximize revenue performance. The Ticketing & Merchandising Specialist will utilize knowledge of the admissions system to deliver packaging & pricing changes effectively & efficiency in like with prioritization, process & within an SLA. This role will support the Ticketing & Merchandising Manager in prioritizing the delivery of all admissions merchandising requests. This role champions consistent, best in class solutions to North Americas admissions system to unlock revenue opportunities. This role communicates the approach and progress of delivery to all key attraction stakeholders.

     

    Qualifications & Experience

    Merchandising Execution

    • Support the attractions with their multi-channel merchandising requests within the defined process & SLA

    • Recommend & utilize the best system solutions to deliver the business challenge or promotional campaigns in line with Ticketing & Merchandising Team best practice

    • Champion standard configuration and operating processes encouraging the business to adopt

    • Work with Revenue Managers, Marketing Managers, and Accesso team to ensure that ticketing & merchandising initiatives are implemented appropriately and processes to deliver are as efficient as possible

    • Liaise with Accesso to deliver new package requests efficiently

    • Ensure appropriate planning is in place to enable the timely set up and communication of price changes to all relevant parties

    • Liaise with Merlin Teams to gain appropriate approvals of package requests as per process

    • Ensure all changes are subject to robust testing & checking of packages and pricing changes prior to going live

    • Ensure changes are not made outside of agreed change periods as per the defined governance

    • Ensure all requested changes are accurately set up and are reflected across all attractions

    • Support Ticketing & Merchandising Manager on the prioritization of change & merchandising requests

    • Execute process to review and authorize all price & core hierarchy of sales changes for North America

    • Ensure consistency and comparability in the treatment and presentation of all merchandising across North America to maximize best practice

    • Ensure consistency reviews and simplification of current product offerings, ensuring consistent nomenclature across attractions and sales channels

    • Create simplification of price points of current product offerings by attraction

    • Ensure that priorities & progress of requests are clearly communicated to key stakeholders

    System and Processes

    • Deliver merchandising approach in line with approved process

    • Auditing & documentation – maintain records and documentation to support any system change carried out. Ensure audit trails are kept supporting system changes.

    • Support the development of key pricing and packaging documentation showcasing active packages

    • Support with the effective delivery of larger projects, including the annual sales re-contracting setup within the admissions system & rebooking portal

    • Carry out ticketing admin responsibilities and to facilitate any admin requests with Accesso

    • Champion standard configuration and operating processes encouraging the business to adopt

    Analysis & Optimization

    • Consistently analyze effectiveness of current merchandising – suggest & implement changes where necessary

    • Foster an environment where best practice processes are identified, shared and incorporated into global standards

    Recommend best use of system functionality to meet the ticketing and operational needs of attractions

    • Support the annual packaging review with attraction teams

    • Provide reporting, progress & analysis in a timely manner for recurring & adhoc strategic priorities

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    About You

     

    Strong knowledge & experience of the Accesso Passport Admissions System pivotal to role. Experience with HTML and CSS. Proven attention to detail and experience. Prior experience in delivering wide ranging priorities and managing multiple stakeholders. Effective communication essential to success in role. An impressive record of achievement within an organization which utilizes Accesso.
