We're seeking experienced, detail driven security professionals who take pride in vigilance, presentation and performance. As an Access Control Security Guard, you'll be the first line of defense, identifying potential risks, maintaining a safe environment and ensuring a polished professional presence at all times.

Responsibilities:

+ Serve as the primary access-control authority for the museum, ensuring only authorized individuals enter

+ Conduct professional security screenings, including hand-held metal detector wanding, bag inspections, and ID verification

+ Enforce museum security policies and procedures consistently, without exception, while maintaining a calm, respectful demeanor

+ Maintain visible command presence to deter prohibited behavior and reassure staff, patrons, and leadership

+ De-escalate confrontational or non-compliant situations using verbal control and sound judgment

+ Collaborate with site leadership to uphold GardaWorld's high standards of service

+ Site Location: Northeast Philadelphia PA 19114 (Driver's License strongly preferred)

+ Set schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (11AM-8PM) and Friday (11AM-10PM) (40 Hours Per Week)

Qualifications of a Surveillance Patrol Security Guard

+ Active Driver’s License strongly preferred

+ Minimum 1-2 years of professional security, military or law-enforcement experience (access control, patrol or surveillance)

+ Exceptional situational awareness and attention to detail

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing

+ Proven ability to remain alert and composed throughout long or routine shifts

+ Be authorized to work in the U.S.

+ Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED

+ Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process

+ Strong report writing skills

+ Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills

+ Strong proficiency with technology

+ If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

+ You have a state license if required
