Employer Account Executive Sr - Remote
Job Description
The Senior Account Executive serves as the primary relationship manager for multiple large and/or complex accounts. The role works directly with groups to optimize pharmacy spend through Prime's products and services, and drives the alignment of market segment and Prime's strategic goals and initiatives.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as a strategic partner to assigned plans' account and pharmacy leadership, as well as consultants and brokers, leveraging deep industry expertise to influence client direction and long-term planning
+ Lead the development and execution of comprehensive master account strategies that drive high-impact client outcomes; ensure alignment between Prime’s enterprise objectives and the client’s strategic roadmap, with a focus on measurable results and contract performance
+ Champion client priorities across Prime by fostering strong internal partnerships and driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative, scalable solutions
+ Facilitate high-stakes client engagements, including executive-level meetings and strategic planning sessions; ensure thorough preparation, documentation, and follow-through to reinforce trust and accountability
+ Guide strategic consultation efforts with account teams to optimize pharmacy spend and maximize client value through renewals and expanded product adoption
+ Educate clients on emerging industry trends, product innovations, and competitive dynamics; support strategic sales initiatives and represent Prime in external-facing events and audits
+ Oversee complex Request For Proposal (RFP) and contract renewal processes, applying advanced knowledge of contract structures to streamline negotiations and mitigate risk
+ Ensure Salesforce CRM is leveraged as a strategic tool for account management by maintaining comprehensive records of client interactions, decisions, and deployed solutions
+ Lead or contribute to enterprise initiatives, departmental projects and goals, and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices to elevate team performance
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, healthcare administration or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
+ 7 years of client service work experience to include 5 years of sales and/or account management experience in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management industry
+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
+ Strong understanding of the healthcare industry with subject matter expertise in one or more areas (pharmacy trend, health plan benefits, etc.)
+ Proven ability to develop, evaluate and communicate selling strategies, presentations and proposals
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport, collaborate, and influence effectively across departments, internally and externally, and at all levels within an organization
+ Able to balance and prioritize compliance, business and other competing goals and risks, while still driving programs and initiatives to completion
+ Strong organization and prioritization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to simultaneously lead multiple, complex projects and strategies, under pressure and strict timeframes
+ Ability to manage complex information to develop well-reasoned solutions that solve client's problems
+ Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment
+ Ability to travel up to 40%

Potential pay for this position ranges from $108,000.00 - $184,000.00 based on experience and skills.
