Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Pantry Operations Manager (Workplace Pantry) to lead a fun, hardworking team of 15–20 attendants and runners who keep our client’s pantry stations fully stocked and running smoothly. You’ll oversee more than 80 stations, ensuring they’re consistently filled with popular snacks, beverages, paper goods (cups, utensils, bowls), and employee amenities like milk, coffee, tea, soda, cereal, and dry snacks.
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll manage daily operations, support your team in maintaining clean and inviting service areas, and ensure all pantry equipment is properly cleaned and functioning. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and motivate a team of 15–20 pantry attendants and runners.
• Manage HR functions, including training, performance, and employee development.
• Develop, implement, and educate the team on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee stocking of food, beverage, and paper products across 80+ stations.
• Inspect employee stations to ensure cleanliness, deep cleaning of equipment, organization, and strong focus on safety and operational excellence.
• Uphold strict quality control standards are maintained when handling consumable food products.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service to enhance customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management to address needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and exceptional service.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
• A hands-on leader who thrives on coaching, motivating, and growing a team.
• 2–3 years of experience in a customer service or food leadership role.
• Experience in food & beverage or client service management preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background in safety training is highly desirable.
• Passionate about delivering world-class service to clients and customers.
• Able to move safely between multiple floors via stairs.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
