    **Schedule:** Full time; primarily Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. More details are available upon interviewing. Open availability to work a mix of 1st and 2nd shift.

    Job Summary

    As a Production Supervisor, you will assist the Executive Chef in the successful operation of food services at a hospital. This role will support areas including kitchen operations, patient services, retail cafe, and catering.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of production employees in order to prepare and deliver a finished food product to the serving areas in an efficient, timely and proper manner.

    + Oversees kitchen operation while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff.

    + Prepares or directs preparation of meals in accordance with corporate programs and guidelines.

    + Additional duties as assigned.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 2 years of cook, culinary, dietary aide, or related food service experience

    + Experience in a hospital or related healthcare environment

    + Some supervisory experience preferably in a food service environment

    + Catering and/or high volume batching cooking experience

    + Experience ordering food and supplies

    + Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet

    + ServSafe Certification
