    Overview

     

    Our DME Driver Technician oversees the functions of equipment pickup, delivery, technical support, education, cleaning, maintenance, and service and repair. This is designated as a safety sensitive position.

    Responsibilities

    + Responsible for picking up and delivering equipment

    + Provides technical support to patient, patient’s family, caregivers, and other clients

    + Provides education of equipment operations to patient, patient’s family, caregivers, and other clients

    + Implementing equipment cleaning and disinfectant program

    + Assists in repairing, servicing, and maintenance of equipment

    + Maintains confidentiality of all hospice patient records

    Qualifications

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Strong organizational skills

    + Excellent telephone and oral communications skills

    + Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

    + Ability to respond to supervisor, patients, families, business associates, and the general public
