Our client is building a new platform for fund and investment operations and seeks a senior full stack engineer to deliver Angular front ends and Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS EKS. The team values engineering excellence, testing rigor, and collaborative delivery with architects and product stakeholders.

_Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

Rate: $65.00 to $66.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

+ Design and implement Angular front-end applications with Typescript, HTML5, and CSS.

+ Build and maintain Java Spring/Spring Boot microservices for a scalable backend.

+ Deploy and operate services in AWS, including EKS, with Docker and Kubernetes.

+ Collaborate with architects, engineering, and product stakeholders to deliver solutions.

+ Lead by coding while mentoring a team of developers to elevate engineering practices.

+ Perform analysis, design, development, integration testing, and problem resolution.

+ Support and execute all phases of testing leading to production implementation.

+ Apply unit testing, automation, CI/CD, ATDD, and code review best practices.

+ Contribute to innovation and technical excellence through research and thought leadership.

+ Work with globally distributed teams and coordinate across time zones as needed.

Experience Requirements:

+ 8+ years of software application development experience across front end and back end.

+ Extensive front-end application development using Angular and Typescript.

+ Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, events and async processing, WebSockets.

+ Backend development with Java Spring/Spring Boot and SQL databases such as Oracle.

+ Experience with unit testing, test automation (Cypress or Playwright), ATDD, DevOps, CI/CD, design and code reviews.

+ Experience delivering microservices and UIs on cloud platforms with containers.

+ Financial or asset management project experience (preferred).

+ Experience with Vue.js, Svelte, UI interoperability tools such as Glue42 or Interop.io (preferred).

+ Exposure to AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferred).

+ Exposure to blockchain technologies including Web3, smart contracts, or cryptography (preferred).

+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

+ Ability to share knowledge and mentor peers while nurturing a learning culture.

+ BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

+ AWS-related certifications (preferred).
