_BAE Systems FAST Labs R3 organization is looking for a Material Planner/Coordinator. The scope of this role begins with engineering identification of the need and ends when all material is positioned and ready for use by internal programs. This Material Planner/Coordinator will play a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution and has a direct impact on program success, acting as a critical chain that links the end-to-end material flow together._
Key aspects of this role:
+ Material acquisition and tracking: Ordering necessary material for programs by coordinating with program technical leads, supply chain, quality and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
+ Logistics and distribution: Receiving, storing, and distributing materials to appropriate projects.
+ Asset tagging: coordinating with asset management for any items that require tagging
+ Record keeping: Maintaining detailed and accurate records of material usage, orders, inventory, and location.
+ Coordination and communication: Working with internal teams and external vendors to schedule deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and manage material flow.
+ Develop effective program relationships with the key program and personnel supporting the programs.
+ Provide leadership in managing the material for assigned programs with particular focus on Material Visibility, Schedule, & Compliance.
+ Proactive communication and management of exceptions or anomalies. This may include tasks such as working part substitutions or mitigating additional risks to the program associated with program execution due to material shortages or late deliveries.
+ Provide visibility and analysis for material procurements schedule to program staff.
+ May be a resource to new business proposal activity by estimating material costs for proposals and providing estimates of remaining material costs to existing programs.
+ Identify and mitigate program risks as they pertain to material requirements.
+ Drive data-based decision making.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
Work Location:
This position will be **full-time on site** because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and requirement to perform all work on site.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 4 Years with Associate's Degree or 2 Years with Bachelor s Degree in a technical field and 2 years of related experience.
+ Active Secret DoW clearance
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing projects from inception to completion.
+ Organizational and communication skills: Essential for tracking multiple tasks and coordinating with various people.
+ Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Ability to obtain Top Secret DoW clearance
+ Knowledge of electronic equipment and components, and test/support equipment
+ Experience with inventory management software, ERP systems
+ Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or material control role
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
