Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is a Santa Clara-based biotech company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of products used for drug testing. Client develops and manufactures products to the biotech and clinical diagnostics sector.

D2D:

- Responsible for ensuring that the output of Production, Quality Control, Packaging, and Shipping meets established schedules and quality goals.

- Responsible for meeting customer forecasts/deliveries.

- Responsible for determining, maintaining, and establishing minimum finished good products based on sales and forecasts.

- Responsible for management, discipline, and evaluation of Shipping Supervisor, Production Supervisor and Lead, Quality Control (QC) Supervisor and Lead, and Packaging Supervisor and Lead.

- Responsible for coordinating with Upper Management, Facilities, Accounting, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Regulatory, and other departments, to ensure that organizational goals regarding safety, efficiency, quality, and profitability are met.

- Hiring of Production, Shipping and Receiving, Inventory, QC, and Packaging Staff.

- Responsible for the development of the manufacturing plan and production schedule in coordination with all Manufacturing Supervisors to increase profit while reducing overhead.

- Establish quality and safety standards and track vendor and organizational performance.

- Administer established policies and procedures in relation to Manufacturing teams.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors Degree (Biology, Healthcare Sciences, or related field strongly preferred)

-3+ years of management in production, manufacturing, or related field

-Healthcare, medical device, biotech, or scientific industry experience

-Experience working for a small-midsized company

-Experience or strong ability to manage multiple teams in a production driven environment (shipping, receiving, production, manufacturing)

-MS Excel

-Google Suite

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
