Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an EDI Systems Analyst to sit hybrid in Purchase, NY. This person will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across their EDI and API integrations using IBM Sterling B2Bi. A key part of this role is having experience outside of traditional EDI work — this person must be comfortable troubleshooting issues within ERP systems as well, specifically Infor M3 CSDE and JD Edwards E1. They will support trading partner connections, maintain EDI maps, and work directly with internal teams, vendors, customers, and suppliers to resolve integration or system-related issues. The ideal candidate has a strong mix of EDI, API integration experience, and ERP troubleshooting skills. The client is looking to bring in a long‑term hire, beginning with a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire period at a pay rate of
$45–$50/hr.

Skills and Requirements
• 3+ years of hands‑on EDI experience (preferably IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi))
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across both EDI and API transactions
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and key transaction sets (850, 810, 856, 997)
• Experience beyond just EDI — must have ability to troubleshoot ERP system issues (preferably Infor M3 CSDE and JD Edwards E1)
• Hands‑on API experience: REST, SOAP, HTTP POST/GET, JSON, XML
• Proficiency with communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, VAN, API gateways
• Strong root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting skills across EDI, API, and ERP flows
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication + documentation skills • Familiarity with SQL and databases
• Cloud‑based EDI/API platform experience
• Scripting (Shell, Python, Perl)
- ITIL understanding (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
