Job Title: Apprentice Carpenter** **Job Description

Seeking a skilled laborer to engage in commercial and industrial construction, including tasks such as site preparation, assisting trades, reading plans, and maintaining safety standards. The role requires hands-on skills, tool knowledge, teamwork, and safety awareness to ensure quality building projects.

Responsibilities

+ Engage in commercial and industrial construction tasks, including concrete, steel, and carpentry work.

+ Prepare sites and assist tradesmen in various construction duties.

+ Read and interpret construction plans effectively.

+ Maintain safety standards at all times.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure quality building projects.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Experience in construction and carpentry.

+ Ability to read blueprints and plans.

+ Knowledge of concrete work.

+ Minimum of 2+ years of commercial construction experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with pre-engineered buildings.

+ Willingness to travel to multiple sites around Columbus.

+ Potential for hire based on resume or interview with the general superintendent.

Work Environment

Work is conducted both outdoors and indoors on pre-engineered new builds, spec warehouse builds, and small new commercial projects. The team consists of skilled carpenters and ironworkers, typically working Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
