**Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is hiring for **Electronic Health Records Specialists** in **Bradenton, FL** .
**Duration:** Permanent, Direct Hire!
**Location:** Bradenton, FL
**Salary range:** $64,000 to $80,000/year. (Pay will be discussed during the interview.)
**Schedule:** M-F, 8am - 5pm, no evenings, no weekends
The EHR Specialist will assist EHR Manager with day-to-day operations and onsite support of end-users of EHR software and associated applications. This person will be responsible for tracking quality measures, analyzing workflows, and assisting the EHR Manager with day-to-day tasks. The EHR Specialist will assist with coordinating connectivity concerns. Will also ensure compliance with related policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES of the EHR Specialist:
• Serve as a resource for EHR-specific concepts used to develop documentation, templates, reporting, and workflows with a primary focus on clinical-related processes
• Assist with developing and maintaining policies and procedures for EHR applications
• Responsible for monitoring and processing the Interface error queues
• Serve as point person for integrations and/or interfaces within the EHR applications
• Troubleshoot issues and support users within the EHR system
• Merge EHR patient records
• Assist with reconciliation of records
• Assist in managing documents in the system
• Assist with developing training material and supporting functionality of Athena Communicator
• Assist with creating campaigns with the EHR applications
• Assist with EHR-related end-user logins and password resets
• Perform and embrace other duties as assigned from time to time.
• Maintain close communication with EHR Manager and verify changes before they are made in the EHR system.
• Document changes that are made in the practice management system and EHR applications.
• Maintain an open line of communication with leadership team on the status of EHR-related specific operations and key performance indicators as it relates to areas of assigned responsibility.
• Obtain and maintain any identified certifications.
REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES for the EHR Specialist:
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
• Current and Valid Florida MA/LPN/RN License/certification required
• 2+ years’ clinical experience as MA/LPN/RN preferred
• 2+ years’ experience as an EHR end-user required
• 2+ years' experience in training and support preferred
• Valid driver’s license required with the ability to move between sites as needed to oversee, observe, and monitor operations
• Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote proficiency preferred
