Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (School Setting)
Schedule: 2.5 days per week, 15–20 hours/week
Contract Length: 36 weeks (remainder of 2025–2026 school year)
Start Date: ASAP or 01/06/2026
Classroom Size: 20–40 speech students
About the Role
Amergis is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the Aurora, CO area for the 2025–2026 school year. In this role, you will perform student evaluations, provide therapy services, and document progress in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician’s orders.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
+ Provide direct speech and language therapy services in a school setting
+ Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with professional standards
+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
+ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local requirements
Minimum Requirements
+ Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in Colorado
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by state/contract)
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
