Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Installation Field Foreman / Lead Installer to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with 10+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, specializing in commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading installation projects, coordinating schedules, and working directly with General Contractors to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

This is a leadership role that requires a strong technical background, the ability to train and develop others, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

+ Oversee and lead HVAC installation projects, ensuring work is completed on time and meets quality standards.

+ Act as the lead installer on commercial projects, ensuring best practices and compliance with industry standards.

+ Manage installation schedules, coordinate tasks, and ensure proper sequencing of work.

+ Work directly with General Contractors, Project Managers, and team members to align on project expectations and execution.

+ Conduct site visits to verify job readiness, troubleshoot challenges, and provide solutions.

Team Leadership & Training

+ Lead and develop a team of installers, mentoring them on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills.

+ Provide on-the-job training to improve team efficiency, installation quality, and overall skill level.

+ Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional growth and accountability.

Technical Expertise & Quality Control

+ Ensure proper installation of ductwork, piping, controls, and HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes.

+ Perform system testing, startup, and commissioning to verify functionality.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site to maintain smooth project flow.

+ Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure projects meet company quality expectations.

Scheduling & Coordination

+ Manage job schedules, resources, and manpower to ensure timely project completion.

+ Coordinate material deliveries, equipment setup, and jobsite logistics.

+ Communicate project updates and challenges with management and field teams.

Safety & Compliance

+ Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.

+ Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications & Skills

+ 10+ years of HVAC installation experience, with a focus on commercial projects.

+ Proven ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and coordinate with General Contractors.

+ Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and controls.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong leadership, communication, and team development abilities.

+ Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance.

+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

+ VRF system experience is preferred but not required.

+ HVAC certifications and licenses are a plus.
