The West Palm Beach office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Experience in personal injury is helpful but not necessary as we will train. After 90 days a hybrid schedule is available.

Your Day-to-Day:

+ Assist with evaluation of presuit claims.

+ Communication with clients.

+ Respond to demands.

+ Draft and respond to discovery.

+ Assist with and take (once trained) depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

+ Learn trial skills and sit second chair at trial.

+ Prepare legal research.

+ Draft motions and attend hearings, attend inspections.

Requirements

+ Previous experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense, personal injury, bad faith, and catastrophic injury, is preferred but not required.

+ Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy

+ Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required

+ Stellar academic credentials
