ICP Group is looking to hire a Lab Technician to support the R&D facility in Andover, MA. Andover specializes in water-based coating manufacturing with the majority of its volume made up of tennis court coatings and architectural coatings. You will work in a supporting role with R&D Chemists to accomplish project-related tasks and report directly to the Technical Director.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

+ Supporting Chemists on projects

+ Accurate and reliable lab batch manufacturing: water and solvent-based

+ Testing and application of coatings

+ Ability to learn color matching

+ Ability to organize testing data to present information to team

Requirements:

+ Preferred BS in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field

+ Paint experience preferred but not required

+ Product manufacturing, application and testing can involve physical activity. Prefer ability to lift 50lbs.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office

+ Self-motivated and organized
