• X-ray Technologist - FT Weekdays 10a-8p

    The X-ray Technologist performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for position patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. The X-ray Technologist works closely with radiologists.

     

    * Prepares patients for exam; communicates instructions and information. Follows AIDET model to consistently achieve highest quality of patient satisfaction.

    * Consistently follows all elements of prescribed electronic workflow. Correctly and accurately utilizes the RIS and/or PACS to access patient information, enter charges, complete examinations, record allergies, etc.

    * Performs timely, accurate quality control testing as required by the imaging system manufacturer and accrediting agencies.

    * Manages and utilizes C-Arm X-ray equipment for use during surgical procedures. Assists with collection and transport of surgical specimens to Imaging.

    *Minimum Education*

    ARRT (R) registered or registry eligible in Radiologic Technology. If registry eligible at time of hire, must pass registry examination within 6 months of hire

    Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

     

    *Minimum Work Experience*

    Preferred - 1 years of experience as a registered technologist in the appropriate modality

    *Required Skills*

    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    X Basic Life Support (BLS)
