    JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Independent set up and operation of various manufacturing equipment such as hot plates, laser marker, glue dispensers, etc. The position also includes duties in packaging of parts for customer shipments.

     

    + Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures.

    + Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements

    + Good verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to read blue prints and follow engineering instructions.

    + Proficient in all types of equipment used in work area within 90 days of hire.

    + Computer skills: Ability to use labor clock within 10 days of hire.

    + Proficient in all aspects of inspection gages for the area after training period ends.

    + Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days of hire.

    + Utilize Lean tools and be active participant in Lean events and High Performance Teams.

    + Participate in 5S activities per Manager request.

    + Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem solving skills.

    + Must be able to work and thrive in Team environment.

    + Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.

    + Other assignments as assigned by Leadership.

    MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

    + Citizenship : US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien

    + Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Vision : 20/25 vision corrected or uncorrected

    + Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing environment

    + Communication : For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English

    + Mechanical Aptitude : Intermediate

    + Math skills– Basic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, converting decimals to fractions

    + Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
