    With roots dating back to 1918, Boston University School of Social Work has more than 100 years of social work education history, a dynamic faculty leading innovative search on pressing social justice issues, and graduate students engaged in programs across five campuses and online. Our mission is to develop dynamic and diverse social work practitioners, leaders, and scholars through rigorous teaching, innovative research, and transformative community engagement.

    Responsibilities:

    The Graduate Admissions Advisor will recruit prospective students for the School's degree programs through a variety of strategic recruitment efforts, including, but not limited to, prospect management, communications activities, nurturing campaigns, and relationship management. The Advisor will continuously engage with prospective students from the inquiry stage through the enrollment stage. These interactions include but are not limited to, phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, information sessions, fair exhibitions, and walk-in visitors. The Advisor will work closely with other members of the admissions and marketing team, as well as faculty, staff, students, and alumni where appropriate.

     

    Some evening, overnight, and weekend work required; some travel is likely.

    Required Skills

    + Bachelor's degree required.

    + 2 years of experience.

    + Admissions experience preferred but not required.
