    Senior Advanced Quality Engineer

     

    Senior Advanced Quality Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Richardson, TX)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Host internal audits and external quality audits (supplier, corporate, and ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100).

     

    Represent the operation in meetings with customers or other Honeywell facilities.

     

    Serve as the customer liaison across businesses by owning customers’ key metrics.

     

    Respond to customer requests for RCCA (root cause / corrective action) by providing comprehensive technical reports based on F/A and RCCA activities.

     

    Provide insights on Manufacturing Site Selection processes.

     

    Mentor internal RCCA activities in response to scrap events and oversee execution of corrective actions.

     

    Maintain metrics and monitor trends associated with scrap.

     

    Support review of equipment/process qualification and validation from other engineering teams.

     

    Develop comprehensive FMEA and Control Plan documents for the operation’s automotive and medical products.

     

    Yield analysis. SPC charts review.

    Job Site: Richardson, TX

    40 hours/week

    YOU MUST HAVE:

    Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or related technical field, and 5 years of Semiconductor/Electronics/SMT line manufacturing industry experience. Must have 3 years of experience with the following: Process / Product / Test or Quality Assurance experience in a Semiconductor/Assembly line industry; hands on auditing experience and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100, ISO 13485 body of certification; high proficiency with standard computer software tools such as MS Office, and statistical data analysis tools; ability to review device failure analysis reports to provide comprehensive feedback regarding potential cause(s) and recommend additional process evaluations. Telecommuting permitted up to two times per week.
