Our client in the industrial automation industry is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting multiple project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

**Job Title:** Project Engineer

**Location:** Houston, TX

**Pay Range:** $60.00-70.00 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Perform system engineering for automation process control projects based on programmable controllers, operator/field device, instrumentation, etc.

+ Design, implement, and test control and automation systems working in a project team environment.

+ Design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and/or prepare studies and analyze existing systems.

+ Determine system specifications and coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.

+ Identify, analyze and resolve program support deficiencies. Develop and recommend corrective actions.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or equivalent

+ Minimum of 5 years related experience in control systems engineering which relates to industrial automation systems (BPCS, CCS, SIS, BMS, HIPPS).

+ Minimum of 5 years related experience in electrical design, including schematics and panel layout; programming PLC's and HMI's or DCS.

+ Ability to design utilizing ACAD electrical (optional).

+ Must be available and willing to work overtime on occasion meet customer project commitments.
