Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric to join their team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be part of the Patient Services Department supporting the dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric

**Location:** New York, NY

**Pay Range:** $28 - $30 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Provide the first level of customer service to patients of the dental clinic, from greeting and routing patients to record maintenance and cashier duties.

+ Monitor daily clinic operations, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.

+ Assign and review work of student and/or casual employees engaged in routine tasks.

+ Schedule follow-up examinations and arrange for substitute patients as cancellations occur.

+ Handle inquiries requiring additional investigation and/or specialized knowledge.

What's Needed?

+ Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or pediatric setting.

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to triage emergencies effectively.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and files.
