    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    We are seeking a physician assistant to work in our outpatient diagnostic cardiology clinic. Physician assistant will work under supervision of a physician within their scope of practice. Duties will include taking medical histories, implement diagnostic testing, physical examination, coordination-of-care, and therapeutic tasks in the sphere of decision-making required to establish a diagnosis and to develop a treatment plan.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

    + Graduate of approved physician assistant program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment

    + National certification in state of employment or in another state with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the state of employment

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

    + Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS) required

    + Cardiology experience preferred
