Description

We are a small but growing CPA firm dedicated to providing exceptional tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals and businesses. Our firm specializes in offering personalized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients, fostering long-term relationships and trust. We are seeking a motivated and experienced CPA Tax Accountant who is interested in growing with the firm and developing into a partner-level role.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review federal, state, and local tax returns accurately for a diverse range of clients including individuals, partnerships, and corporations.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest changes in tax laws and make proactive recommendations to clients to help them reduce tax liability.

• Lead tax planning engagements to identify tax-saving opportunities and implement client strategies.

• Develop and manage strong client relationships by providing exceptional advisory services.

• Serve as a trusted advisor in areas such as tax strategy, business consulting, and compliance issues.

• Support small business clients with financial statements, bookkeeping, and tax planning to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Contribute to firm growth by mentoring entry level staff and overseeing their work to ensure high-quality service.

• Work with leadership to enhance processes, implement new systems, and increase firm profitability.

• Actively engage in business development initiatives, including networking and client acquisition events.

• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local tax regulations, including deadlines and filings.

• Maintain the highest levels of ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx is required.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are necessary.

• QuickBooks experience

• Familiarity with SAP

• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting is crucial.

• Demonstrated experience in Compliance is a must.

• Knowledge of Corporate Income Tax is essential.

• Experience in Corporate Tax Compliance is required
