    Job Description:

    Beth Israel Lahey Health is excited to announce the opening of a new Urgent Care clinic in Middleboro, MA. The Urgent Care team is currently searching for Lead Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to provide clinical supervision and operational oversight of all departmental advanced practitioners, and to work with administrative leadership to implement process and clinical improvement.

    Details:

    + Full time; 40 hrs/week

    + Growing practice; new location

    + Responsible for orientation, training, and mentoring of newly hired Advanced Practitioners.

    + Responsible for monitoring productivity

    + Participates in interviewing and hiring additional APP staff

    + In consultation with the Department Chair, provide input to performance reviews

    + Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the department leadership team

    + Some off shift work hours may be required

    + Carrying a beeper as necessary may be required

    + Perform various direct patient care tasks

    Qualifications:

    + Graduate of a Master’s in Nursing program or a Physician Assistant program

    + Certification and current NP or PA license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

    + DEA

    + MCSR
