What you’ll be able to do:

Senior Software Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Lead the design and development of microservices in Kubernetes using Java and related technologies. Develop and implement data encryption and decryption solutions to ensure data security. Optimize microservices for high performance and scalability. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that microservices meet business requirements. Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Continuously improve the reliability and availability of microservices. Mentor and guide junior team members.

You'll have...

A master’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience developing applications in Java. Also requires 3 years of experience building high-performance, large-scale data processing services. Requires 2 years of experience using containerization technology; and building applications using cryptography.

We are offering a salary of $132,350.00 - $236,280.00/yr.
