• Tactical Aviation Product Lead

    ManTech (Lothian, MD)


    ManTech seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented **Tactical Aviation Product Lead** to join our team at **Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD.** This is a **part-time, onsite** position.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Creation of airworthiness product development tactical aircraft in support of PMA-265.

    + Assimilate system data and develop content for the Naval Aviation Technical Information Publication (NATIP)

    + Adhere to and manage the Airworthiness Process to incorporate Flight Clearance content into NATIP

    + Setup, manage, and provide follow-up to planning meetings to incorporate new content into NATIP. Collaborate with and track actions of the multiple technical subject matter inputs to the updates

    + Manage and track flight clearance actions

    + Attend and support various workshops, meetings, and conferences related to F-18 and systems included in the NATIP

    + Coordinate with support editors and graphics artists on the production activities to submission for distribution

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree

    + 8+ years of experience in Naval Aviation with fixed wing aircraft

    + Must be a current or prior officer in the United States Navy or Marine Corps

    + Knowledge of tactics employment of weapons by fleet aircrew

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 12 years experience as a Fixed Wing Navy or Marine Corps Aviator or Naval Flight Officer, Weapon System Officer

    + Weapons School TOPGUN or similar qualification

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

    + U.S. Citizenship required

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

    + Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

    + Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
