    Job Description Summary

    Technical key user for the development and maintenance of engineering tools (AC1) related to Instrument Transformers (ITR). The position to ensure configuration harmonization for a given product type, as well as standardization of tendering and engineering process. Support to the day-to-day requirements for ITR products configurator. This role will also refine, improve, simplify, and evolve the AC1 configurator for ITR products to meet ITR PL growth demands in products, options, and function of the tool. As the factories have continued to grow and evolve, so has the use of the AC1 configurator and the need for it to support additional functions within the ITR facilities. This role will contribute to the project for the AC1 configurator improvement.

    Job Description

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Be the focal for the US Charleroi Instrument Transformer AC1 users.

    + Support the AC1 Instrument Transformer Leader to refine, improve, simplify, and evolve the AC1 configurator to meet USC factory growth demands in products, options, and function of the tool.

    + Support all current AC1 requirements, NPIs and updates.

    + Collect needs from users and then collaboratively agree on next developments to be implemented, in coordination with the AC1 Instrument Transformer Leader.

    + Develop / incorporate routing in AC1 for SAP, BOM.

    + Writes rules, guidelines, and operating procedures necessary for AC1 use.

    + Train, coach, and develop additional users for AC1 configurator in the future.

    + Support the quality of the solution delivered through all project phases (from design to support).

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience

    Desired Characteristics

    + SAP experience

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience with instrument transformers manufacturing/design

    + MS Office software including macros and programming within Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

    + Project management, planning, activity follow-up.

    + Experience working cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

    + Good understanding of ITR processes: R&D Engineering, Planning, Sales, Contract engineering, and Manufacturing.

    + Experience with CREO design and AutoCAD.

    + Programming skills.

     

    _The salary range for this position is 88,600.00 - 118,100.00 - 147,600.00 USD AnnualUSD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
