    Position Summary/Description:

    The Division of Hospital Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina is recruiting Pediatric Hospitalists. Primary clinical responsibilities will include in-house day/evening/night coverage with direct patient care, supervision of residents and fellows and teaching of medical students at North Carolina Children’s Hospital ( NCCH ). Patients will include general pediatrics, newborn nursery, bone marrow transplant and co-management with other pediatric specialties. This is a clinical faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor on the fixed term track.

The Division of Hospital Pediatrics is a busy and diverse inpatient group that includes 24/7 coverage of inpatient pediatric and newborn nursery services in Chapel Hill. Additionally, we have a consult service and coordinate admissions and transfers for all medical patients. Our services and providers focus on the care of children with medical complexity and co-management with medical and surgical specialty consultants.
