We are seeking a **Construction Materials Testing Regional Program Manager** to join our Roswell, GA team! Come join us!
This person oversees and directs all State and Local Government construction materials testing and oversight for our Georgia operations. Management duties include client management, project management, staff supervision, training, and oversight of the work of roadway testing technicians and other professional staff.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Oversees daily activities of the program and solve operational problems as needed.
+ Provides oversight of field testing technicians to ensure project specifications are met and the work meets the required quality standards.
+ Performs project management duties as needed (including oversight of field technicians, managing project budgets, reviewing client billing reports).
+ Ensures that branch laboratories attains and maintains desired certifications and registrations.
+ Assist in the development and training of testing personnel.
+ Evaluates protocols and procedures employed by staff to ensure project specifications are met.
+ Prepares written reports, reviews staff’s testing reports, and monitors contract testing response times.
+ Develops and presents verbal/written proposals or reports and interacts with clients, other consulting engineers, and prospective clients.
+ Makes professional and technical recommendations regarding project material issues and/or corrective measures.
+ Pursues work on behalf of the services provided including coordinating or preparing proposals for potential work.
+ Attends and participates in manager’s meetings, other management meetings, and strategic planning meetings.

Minimum requirements:
+ B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Materials Science, or a related field required.
+ Strong Civil/Construction/CMT background.
+ Strong CMT, Project, Construction Management background. Prior Management and Supervision Training.
Technical requirements:
+ Extensive knowledge of ASTM standards, AASHTO Specifications, and procedures
+ Strong knowledge of CMT testing methods, equipment, and industry standards.
+ Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Problem solves and determines compliance issue resolutions.
+ Fosters relationships with clients (Ability to develop trust and credibility through engagement).
+ Develops and implements long-range strategic activities for the local and state CMT program.
+ Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in field testing and laboratory settings.
Other miscellaneous qualities:
