    PHARMACIST

    Primary Responsibilities:

    1. Compounds, manufactures, packages, and dispenses medications according to hospital and department procedures. Reviews and interprets physician’s orders and evaluates for age appropriate dosage, route, frequency, and interactions. Ensures no serious interactions result or inappropriate drugs are dispensed. Maintains patient medication profiles.

    2. Prepares and dispenses prescriptions.

    3. Profiles, prepares, labels, and dispenses IV when requested.

    4. Assists in controlling undue expenditure of resources.

    5. Restocks and maintains emergency medication supplies.

    Required Qualifications:

    1. 0 - 1 years of experience.

    2. Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required. PharmD Preferred.

    3. Current MA Pharmacy License.

    4. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
