    Primary Purpose of this Job

     

    ATI Specialty Materials, an Allegheny Technologies Company, is a recognized world leader in the production of specialty alloys including titanium, nickel and specialty steel for the aerospace, biomedical, oil & gas, chemical processing and nuclear industries. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following position in Monroe, NC: Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level III Engineer

     

    Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)

     

    + Direct mill support

    + Training, certification and performance reviews of NDT personnel

    + Order planning

    + Support to other departments, primarily Certification and Product Engineering groups.

    + Test results approval

    + NDT specification review.

    + NDT procedure development

    + Direct customer support

    + Perform external and internal audits

    + Development of new technologies

    + Interaction with industry groups
