Friendly Acura of Middletown is seeking highly skilled and experienced Automotive B level Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. This is a full-time role and offers an excellent compensation package in the range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year. This is calculated based on flat rate hours, base hourly wage and technician bonus. Our technicians average 50 hours per week with our top performers in the 60-70 hour range.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify potential issues.

• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC.

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

• Assist in road testing vehicles to ensure proper repairs have been made.

• Keep accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.

• Communicate with service advisors to provide updates on repairs and estimated completion times.

• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

• Keep abreast of advancements in automotive technology and attend training as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of an automotive training program from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician.

• ASE certification preferred.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
